Topic: The Influence of Mothers

I will Start today's Sermon with the words of Bonaparte, a french man, when he asked Madame Campan, what the French nation needed

She replied in one word "Mothers", been a Mother is a calling

Mothers are endowed with all powerful control over their offspring and most men of eminence in the world have acknowledged their great indebtedness to maternal influence

The Church already owes much and will owe infinitely more, to the love, patience, Zeal and self-devotion of Mothers in training their Children for Christ

According to Genesis 3:10, And Adam called his Wife's name Eve, because she was the Mother of all living

"Eve" means Life - founder of beings

A man who doe not understand the original cannot possibly comprehend the reason of what is here

And Adam called his wife's name life, because she is the mother of all human beings, and she was to be the Mother of him who was to give life to a World dead in trespasses and dead in sins (Galatians 4:4, Ephesians 2:1)
